Ms. Deasy has worked for KCUSD for 26 years! She earned her BA in Hotel/Restaurant Management and her MA in Teaching. Ms. Deasy has taught 3rd grade, 1st grade, and kindergarten. She's also served as a reading coach, working with teachers to improve their reading instruction. Ms. Deasy has called KCAM home for 16 years. She loves traveling, reading, going to the movies gardening, and spending time with family and friends. She has an adventurous side and has flown in a hot air balloon (!) jumped out of an airplane (!!), worked on a fishing boat, and lived in Japan for a year. Ms. Deasy has a brother, sister-in-law, niece, and nephew that live in Spokane, and her mother shares her home with her. Her favorite colors are shades of blue, and her favorite food is Mexican food. If you arrive to school before 8:05, you'll always find Ms. Deasy visiting with her KCAM friends on the line-up dots. KCAM appreciates you, Ms. Deasy!
