What is PBIS?

The Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports program is based on recognizing positive behaviors in students

PBIS means students will know exactly what is expected of them. Students who take responsibility to behave positively will be rewarded with Otter Awards.

  • Students can earn an Otter Award for showing their best behavior—each one is entered into a daily prize drawing.

  • Those who go above and beyond can also earn an Otter Buck, which can be redeemed for prizes listed on the chart.
